Waiting
We had all gathered in the lobby waiting for the cops to show up. One of the beasts darted from cover to cover, never granting us a good look at it. Sergey had told them that there was some sort of wild animal that had killed one of the employees. We had expected from that cops and animal control and ambulances and who knows what else. What showed up was a single patrol car. The cops were dead seconds after they stepped out of the car. We waited for hours expecting some sort of follow up but there's been nothing. Are these things attacking all over and that's why there's been no more cops? Sergey tried calling 911 again and got a busy signal. I've gone looking for food.
Two
I'm so tired. I was up most of the night because after Andy died the arguments started all over again. And they went pretty much all night. And then they got physical. Sergey said he'd had enough and was calling the cops. If some die to the beasts, so be it. As long as it gets us out of here. He started digging into his pocket when Curt slugged him and Sergey went down. Curt started reaching for a chair to beat Sergey with when Sergey kicked out and snapped Curt's knee like a green branch and Curt went down hard. Sergey rolled and drove his elbow into Curt's throat and something broke. It's not just beasts killing us now, it's ourselves as well. And Sergey's called the cops.

Dead
He's dead. He's dead and I didn't stop him. It was Andy's idea but I should have stopped him. He figured that since the beast went up front whenever someone went in the lobby, that he could hurry out the back door of the warehouse to his car if someone distracted the beast to get it up front. So I volunteered. I should have stopped him. I should have said it was a bad idea. It was working... I went in the lobby by the door and there was the beast. Quentin and Mikhail relayed word to Andy. He ran out towards his car but he didn't make it. We didn't know that the beast wasn't alone. There's at least two of them out there.

Food Fight
I think I mentioned before that we'd eaten all of the snacks that were left behind for us. And well there's no power so the food options aren't that good. I'm not sure who started it other than someone spotted another guy carrying a box of something edible away from the kitchen storage area. With that one act started something that turned into an angry mob clawing at each other and grabbing for whatever that looked like food... most of which is lying crushed and scattered on the floor now. I was able to stash a few snacks from a box into my pockets and slip out from the crowd but they won't last me long and then what do I do?

Quiet
I woke up this morning to quiet. It took me a moment to realize how odd this was. No arguments, no beast beating on the warehouse door, just quiet. I moved the table away from the door and opened it... and then I heard bits of conversation coming from somewhere up front. Needing to find out what was up, I went down the hall to the lobby where I found most of us gathered. Several of them were obviously shaken so I asked what was going on. Andy told me there had been a dog in the parking lot barking. Michael had been about to go outside thinking that if there was a dog barking that it must be safe when the beast sped from behind the building right at the dog and literally tore it to shreds in seconds while they watched. There's a spray of blood on the pavement but no other sign that there ever was a dog. So much for quiet.

Sleep
I'm worn out. I looked around a bit trying to find somewhere "safe" for me to go to sleep. The best I was able to find is the conference room near my desk. By pushing the table up against the closed door I was able to barricade myself in, not that it will stop anyone or anything for long but it's better than nothing. Sweet dreams...

Dinner
We finished off the snacks in the Cantina. I think we were all there, it's hard to tell given that we're all new faces and I'm not sure who stayed in Atlanta and who is just taking today off. Andy's been really quiet, and Curt and Sergey are refusing to talk to each other. And the rest of us seem to be forming into camps in favor of one or the other. It's going to be dark soon.

Fight
Curt and Sergey had a fight. Well, we all had a fight but Curt and Sergey came to blows over it. We were arguing over whether to call the police or anybody really and what to tell them. It's not like we can tell them there's a "beast" stalking the office. They'll write us off as a crank call. And if they don't believe us and just show up the beast will get them. Sergey thinks we should call anyway and Curt thinks we should wait it out. I don't know who to believe.

Trapped
Sergey, Mikhail, Michael, Quentin, and I made a try at going out the front door but when we stepped into the lobby something big and dark ran by. None of us got a good look at it but we weren't going to take the chance at going outside. Groups of us have been gathering here and there, especially in the Cantina where we can grab some food from the snacks and such left behind.

Crap
Now the power's gone out. We were all talking with Andy to find out what the hell happened when the lights went out. We'd go outside but we can hear something banging on the big door in the warehouse.

Lunch
Had a conversation with a few of the guys about lunch and where to go. Looking at Chinese or Mexican (how appropriate) and will have to decide soon. Andy just came back in while I'm typing this and he's all cut up saying something attacked him. Some sort of "beast" (his word). He says he didn't get a good look at it but that it was "like some sort of malformed ape". I'm going to check this out.
Sitting here in the dark and quiet
I arrived this morning to find the parking lot full of cars. Did you folks have to park in all the "good" spots? But it's just cars... no people. Almost like mortal remains after the spirit has departed. Ah, but at least Spam remains.

The work continues
Sergey dropped by my desk. We talked about work stuff for a while but the conversation ran out. Most everyone staying in Atlanta during the trip is busy working on whatever it is they're working on. It's strange having so many gone... no teams, no managers. Now and then you can hear a muffled conversation in the distance where a handful have gathered in cheerful conversation. But eventually the chatter stops and the silence comes again. It will be time to go home soon.
It's quiet... so quiet.
They've been slowly filing out all afternoon and now there's only a few of us left. The laughter has stopped and there's only the sound of a few isolated taps on a keyboard somewhere down the hall. Occasionally someone will pass by and we'll strike up a conversation but the silence eventually overtakes the handful of sputtered words. I hear footsteps in the hall, someone is coming.
